Musanada awards contractor for Al Ain Ladies Club ... - AME Info

The project has recently got the approval of the Executive Council and is due to commence construction this month, with delivery expected for September 2014.

The Al Ain Ladies Club will host a range of sporting & recreational facilities, from a fully-equipped Gymnasium & Aerobics hall to Bowling, Snooker, Basketball, Volleyball & Squash courts, including a Half-Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool all in door as well as an outdoor Bicycle track and Tennis court. Other recreational facilities include an Auditorium, Restaurant & Retail outlets, a specialised Beauty Center & Spa, and designated outdoor & indoor children's Playgrounds.

This project, located just off the main Shakhboot Bin Sultan road in Al Ain, will have a gross floor area of almost 13,500 SQM, and has been designed to be in one integrated complex, consisting of a Ground Floor plus 2 levels, accommodating around 350 people. The club is intended to receive a 2-Pearl-Rating from Estidama in conformance to the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 for sustainable buildings.

Engineer Al Qubaisi further confirmed that the formal contract was signed this month, following Abu Dhabi's Executive Council approval. Construction will commence this month with a delivery timeline of September 2014. The Abu Dhabi Sports Council is currently in discussions with major facilities operators to run and manage the sports & recreational club once completed.
